T-Hill, Luck and RG3 all have to be starting from the first game or the bet is null, ok?
Wait wait wait, that's my whole bet in the first place. T-Hill's going to a better team, and if he's starting from Week 1 he might have a shot. But I say no way he starts Week 1, so no way he outperforms both RG3 and Luck.

So ok. I don't want to put words in your mouth, but it sounds to me like you are saying that "IF" T-Hill starts day 1 he has a shot to out perform Luck and RG3? Sounds like you are agreeing with me then Wil. It would have been fun seeing my avitar on your name. Oh well, I'm sure we will find another gentlemans bet you may feel you have better odds in. Nice to see you are scared of T-Hill though.

I will do this bet, though: average FF points per start. Tannehill won't beat both RG3 and Luck. That way they Tannehill doesn't have to start from Week 1. And the stakes will be the other guy has to use the avatar you create, starting December 11 (the day after Week 14 ends) until after the Super Bowl on Feb. 5th.

anyone else bother to review prisco's power rankings?

its hilarious how high he has 'Zona and Seattle. I guess ol'Pete didnt watch too many NFC West games last year. I wish I could be in a money league with some of the hacks that write NFL articles online. Some are good, but most of them dont know a single thing more than the avid fan.

In that case, as long as RG3 or Luck outperform the Dolphin QB that Tanny couldn't beat out, that should settle it.

If we ever somehow get the ball rolling on a site (or anything of that nature) I will be the first in line to offer up some editing services.
Maybe that is something we should seriously consider, which would solidify the MBBRL, who knows, it could some day rival the major national websites. I can only imagine that this is how other fantasy sites have got their start, and it would be funny to see the cbs guys scrambling for content after they lse the ability to pilfer our thoughts/commments, lol!

Monkey you have to stop talking or you are going to get me over excited here. I know we are being copied. It is so funny when I hear or read something that I know came from our postings. I have been saying for a while now. We need to band together now and start a site once and for all. I also happen to be a web designer/graphic design by trade and could do all the work. I have a site but I think we should come up with a fresh new site and then register it in all our names together so that no one would feel worried. Once we determine who would want to be in we could start kicking around ideas for great site names. Just a tip they should have the words fantasy football in the for search optimization purposes.

I know this site would kick some major **** as I have never read anything anywhere or heard anything on any show that impressed me more than with our discussions and postings. We are a super fantasy football think tank. I know each one of you check this this posting every single day of your lives. it is the first thing you look at in the morning and the last thing you look at before bed. We need to start making money from this. There is no reason to just keep going like this while getting nothing for all this charm, passion, insight, spot on anylisis, cleverness, outside the box thinking and high retention rate that's just a few off the things we offer as a whole. My buddy Johkum is a great programmer and our site could not only have great articles and rankings from each one of us, but we could have our League on there and we could design a game center to play right on there. We could even offer up free fanatsy football on our site and with our idea churnning we could make that the best fanatsy game center ever seen and offer it free. We could make up new games like that game that Wil and I started two years ago. (Wil what was that game where we all picked like 5 players at each position. I am sure I could remember if I gave it some thought but when you have a wil you don't need to). With all that we bring to the table we could build a power house of a sports site in no time. All it will take is our first sponser then they will start to fall into place like dominos. Come on Dummys it's time.

to be honest, once we started playing that game where we saw who could pick the top players at the positions, that's when I really became active on the boards. I went to Foot's site a few times that year as well, so I knew that if anything, you were commited to the game.

Last year, at my last job (I was super busy every year from Jan - July) when things finally calmed down for me, I was putting all of my spare time into my personal relationships -- reconnected with some old friends and my parents, and laid the foundation (both literally and figuratively) with my significant other, she agreed to marry me and D-day is Sept 1st this yr -- so now I am fully ready to go all in on a fantasy sports site. So while I missed out on the first season of the MBBRL, it was worth the sacrifice, lol.

Someone I played soccer with in high school opened up a fantasy sports themed sportsbar here in STL. He would possibly have some good insights as to what works well/doesnt work well with sponsors, so I can try to hit him up and get some info there if we are going to do this. I am sure that all of us probably have some connections that we could tap to get things going with this as well.

This could be huge!!

DUFF king of beers STRIKES again!!!!!!!

I am down to help put this monster into a real deal fire stoked machine. I could see things coming a long very nice if we had the computer equipment to hold all the content that would need to be held. Basic website we would be able to post blog type sports information with no problem which we all know and Foot does already. But to hold leagues of play and other games we'd come up with that all takes a lot of storage of memory... I personally am working on a Stat-Facts Waiver Wire order which allows the Commish to plug that weeks numbers and it gives a TRUE waiver order instead of the CRAP bottom feeder system 70 plus % of leagues use to figure out their week in and week out waiver order which is not fair at all. I have everything done except the website is not built. If that is something that we see could help out fantasy commish's who crave fair play in their league I don't mind getting that on a new MBBRL type fantasy website to bring another great nitch to the table.....

So long story short I am game to help on the project and my wife is in law here in North Carolina so if we need to look up statues and stuff I know she'd give a helping hand....

Monkey and DUB, that is great to hear. So let's see who else wants in on this and then we can really start feeding the flame with ideas. DUB that would be another great eliment to bring to the site. I could easily create a site like you are talking about with blogs and such (Plus I have a programmer friend who can write the best code) which is needed for gaming systems and creating user accounts. Sounds like we off to a decent start. I guess we should start kicking around some cool fantasy names for the site and then we can narrow them and vote.

Sure I do. Just feeling a bit of a wisenheimer today. Not sure how much time I have to devote for it. The schedule is gonna change here shortly cause I just got promoted to superviser at work and come June 11, I'll be working dayshift Monday thru Friday. Get to have a real life again like the rest of you. Not sure how many hours I'll need to put in at work. And then I've got activities for the kids on weekends, especially in the summer. You throw in re-doing our landscaping as well as running 2-3 fantasy leagues and another 3-4 more leagues I'm in and I don't have a ton of time. But whatever you think I can help with.......

Well Duff I would love for everyone who commits to this to really consider this their second job until it becomes thier first and to truly devote all their heart and passion into making this the number one ranked fantasy football site in the world one day, soon. But half a Duff is better than no Duff. Our goal should be to become number 1 period. And I fully believe we have the talent, heart and love for the game enough to more than accomplish that goal. DUB I send it to you.

Well Duff I would love for everyone who commits to this to really consider this their second job until it becomes thier first
Fantasy football prognostication is quite the fickle business with a million different views and quite a large level of competition. Sorry, but it won't be my second job. My first job is where I earn my paycheck and my second job is my family and my family will always come before my paycheck if needed.
But half a Duff is better than no Duff
I can give you what time allows, for now. When and if this idea takes off, I'll be glad to devote more time to it.

On another note:

Foot-

I think you need to take inventory on what kind of "specialties" or what strengths each of us would bring to the table. I mean, we all have the general knowledge and can rank our players every year based on whatever scoring system is in place. But what makes each of us unique for this project or what do we each have more experience in? Also, what are things that each of don't cover well or don't have much experience with? It would just be kind of silly to have all of us prattling away about the same things like we do here. Why would anybody go to our site when they can get the same discussions on just about any fantasy football chatboard around? You kind of have to identify what areas we could cover well and what might be able to do differently than everybody else. Personally, I hardly see much in the way of dynasty info in magazines or web-sites, other than a slightly different player ranking draft sheet.

For example:

I started playing FF in 1986 and this will be my 27th year of playing. For the past 23 years, my league I started in 1986 has been a dynasty league. Ranking players for a dynasty league is a whole different animal than for a re-draft league. Trade values are also slightly different since you have to consider such things as length of fantasy contracts with a team, player age, etc. So I could probably say that I have a pretty good handle on dynasty league issues.

My lack of knowledge and experience is in the area if IDP leagues and the ranking of IDP players. I played in one IDP league for 2 years. It got to be just a tad too much handling the usual offensive starters and then another 11 defensive starters every week as well as a 12-man bench. I've got a good general knowledge on who are some top defensive players in the NFL. However, that doesn't always translate into top fantasy defensive stats. Some of the better fantasy defensive players are on bad defenses and make tons of tackles. Regardless, I'm more familiar and comfortable with the Team Defense concept.
