A great pitching pitching performance by Zack Greinke absolutely wasted by the Brewers.  8 innings of 2 hit ball and he doesn't get the win.  Worse, the Brewers don't get the win.  They didn't score a run until the bottom of the 9th and lost 2-1.  Axford had been really tough lately--saves in each of his last 4 appearances, allowing no runs and racking up 7 strikeouts.  Not today, though.  Gave up 2 runs, both earned.

The Brewers have the same record as the Cubs.  Not good.

Is there any doubt that the Yankees won't scoop Josh Hamilton if the Rangers don't resign him before the end of the year? I smell   a deal larger than A Rod's.

I'll definetly take Axford's -7 points scored in that Brewers loss.  Sorry Magill but I must stay....ahead in the count!

133 - 93 is the current lead the President's Club has in Week 6.  Winning comes easy for us in this league. 

Looks like someone was reinstated, justice prevails.  CBS finally listened and reversed a decision made because of lie by a drama queeen.  Justice has been served.

Good Thursday Morning GB10, no meetings on my calendar today so I've got plenty of time to consider trades

I was pleased to see the Capitals push their series with the Rangers to a decisive Game 7...they played too well in their close defeats to lose in six games.

I got solid performances from Jake Peavy and Brandon Morrow, but Cliff Lee was a little disappointing in his first start back from the DL...no worries he won't fully rebound, but I really needed something great this week.  With too many of my hitters only giving me mediocre results and trailing by 43 points combined with Dave now having a 4 SP advantage, only an implosion or two by his waiver wire wonders will likely keep me within striking distance.

I'm not sure what I want to do from a trade perspective so if you have any desire to make a deal for a SP, throw me a reasonable offer identifying what players you are interested in and if we are in the same ballpark, then we can begin hammering out the finer details of a trade.

Good morning GB10.  The Mets sweep the Phillies.  I know the Phillies aren't exactly clicking on all cylinders right now, but the Mets?  Wow, that's surprising.

I have sent out trade offers to Hawks and Comet...if anyone else is looking for a Top 30 SP, let me know.

actually I am laughing my ass off wondering how many weeks you are gonna have to waste a bench spot sitting his ass til he warms up and how many pitching opportunities it is gonna cost youwhere you could have picked up a 2 starter to be competitve without dropping a top guy... I wwill say that Estle being a blind homer should have asked for a lot more than your 6th pitcher
