I don't know (nor does anyone) where Peyton is going to end up, but my hope is that he goes to some team that has never or at least not for multiple decades won a Super Bowl that his arrival would breathe life into a fan base in dire need of some hope like he did for Indy nearly 15 years ago.

he could still live in Indy and commute to CincySealed

My thoughts are that the two western divisions seem to be ripe for the picking given the extreme lack of elite teams in both

I heard the Seahawks got on the horn immediately to let the Manning camp know they were interested and would come after him with "checkbooks blazing", lol.  Wouldn't that be something?  I like what the team has done with the defense, the unit should only get better.  Re-signing Marshawn Lynch and drafting OL in the first round the past 2 drafts really seems genius now.  Pete Carroll/John Schneider have done a decent job so far building this team but would Peyton actually be what they need at the position?  What about the long term under center?  If they do land Manning they could still get a rookie QB with their 1st round pick, couldn't they?

Dolt....forgot the stupid PM button

Wait a minute, look who I'm asking!  You're about a dumbass.  Aha!  BUSTED...lol.

Good Thursday Morning GB10, even with the day off on Tuesday this week is really dragging along

I know that there are some talking heads out there that think that the Dolphins are the most logical landing spot for Peyton Manning and maybe even Reggie Wayne, but I still think that a team like the Cardinals or even Seahawks would give him the best opportunity to get back to the Super Bowl since I don't believe there are any elite teams in the NFC West....sorry 49ers fans.  The one thing I'm not sure about however is how many elite teams really exist in the AFC???  If he thinks that he will have an easier time trying to defeat the likes of the Patriots, Ravens, Steelers, and Texans rather than the Packers, Saints, Giants, and Falcons then I could see him choosing the comfort of Miami (where he has a residence) over a completely new city on the other side of the country.

I wish I knew what position I am going to be drafting from next Sunday...I need to complete at least a few mock drafts in preparation for the big event.  Hopefully I won't have to leave my fate in the hands of auto-draft after a half dozen picks like I did last season...it was a damn near miracle that I was able to manage my team to a third straight championship given that I turned over more than 80% of my roster.

I understand he's very negotiable on salary, but I still seriously doubt the Boone Island Pirates can afford Manning.

Morning all....hey Bronco...I heard ont he radio this morning the Broncos have reached out to Manning as well.  I thought they were set with Tebow?  Sounds kind of crazy to me Undecided.

I think he ends up in Miami to set up retirement...

Personally I was glad to hear that the Broncos reached out to Peyton Manning...tells me the front office recognizes that opportunities to bring in an elite talent at the hardest position in the NFL to find a franchise player don't come around very often.  I don't know if they have all of the pieces that Manning would want to see in place in order to strongly consider Denver has a viable option, but there is no doubt in my mind that he would be an upgrade over Tim Tebow for at least the next two years.

No doubt Miami makes the most sense, but for some reason I just don't see it happening....we'll see.

Most likely he's going to Washington.  The place where veterans go to die.

That's why I don't want him to go there.  Daniel Synder has the (anti) Midas touch.
