That's 6-6. When was powerhouse TCU last 6-6? Get my point? I think they might win some of those games but i think they might lose some of the ones I have them winning. For example, I have them winning @ Kansas,@SMU, Iowa ST. and Texas Tech but they could easily lose one or two of these. However they could win one or two of the others.
The bigger possibility is them losing one of the games I have them winning. Smiles agreed with me the programs were similiar and we would see how TCU does will be interesting.
Shel, do you see me that far off? TCU hasn't played any schedule like this ever. They won't lknow what hit them. The crazy thing is they are more prepared for a schedule like this 10 times more than Boise St could ever be. Lets sit back and enjoy the ride fans!!!
Smilesm sure you Boise Broncos are ready for prime time?![]()
TCU will likely go somewhere between 7-5 and 5-7 this season being in the Big XII.
After you repeatedly told us all how Boise State would lose at least four games last year after losing Titus Young and Austin Pettis, I'll take this prognostication with a grain of salt if you don't mind!
It goes right in the realm of when you once claimed that YOUR team didn't lose to Ore, that same year. Why? Because there was a bad call on a desperation onside kick that denied your team a chance to come back. So therefore you didn't lose.
You see SPINocchio, when someone like you or of your ilk posts, most adults would expect your posts to be accurate and thus showing your knowledge of the subject at hand. But you and your ilk consistently show neither.Surely I don't need to point out the Irony here.
Why is this off season seemingly much longer than others ... oh, I know why ... threads as useless as these continue on, and on, and on.
Boise fans, your team is good ... let it go.
Non Boise fans, the team is good ... let it go.
If you have not figured out either point ... then you either have not been following college football for the last decade or your an a-hle.
If I could save time in a bottle....Hey Genius, do you watch college football? Do you understand when a team wins? If they keep winning, year-in-an-year-out that is a good indicator they might be good.
Ok, So LeRoy Brown thinks Boise is good because they beat Nevada the second time around.
Thanks for stopping in.
And Georgia made a hell of a comeback, almost pulling it out.Georgia is one of the best teams at making comebacks in college history. I still can't believe the comeback to beat VT in the Peach Bowl. Unbelievable.
What a joke... you do realize you play in the BIG 12 .... a conference that makes the MWC look like the SEC!No conference could possibly make the MWC look like the SEC.
Like Boise, TCU has become one of the best teams in the country. Watch them play!

1. Ridiculous. Apparently you got basketball and football confused while you typed that and really lost all credibility from there on: TCU 42 Kansas 10
2. Not losing to Virginia at home: Virginia 17 TCU 28
3. I see SMU upsetting TCU here: TCU 27 SMU 28
4. OK St will need a year to rebuild: TCU 31 OK St. 24
5. K-State will also be taking a step backwards this year: K-State 23 TCU 30
6. A slight improvement in 2011 but they have yet to return to the scene: TCU 31 Texas 27
TCU with 5 losses in a row? Get out of here, scrub.
TCU (9-3)
You are correct. They are a lot "like boise" in the fact that they are overrated every single year for beating Pudd State School of the Challenged 10 times a year.
I have watched them play far more than you I imagine. I watched them get Beat by SMU last season. Did you watch that game? Yeah SMU beat them at TCU's Home Stadium. Happened a few weeks before TCU beat boise at Boise's home stadium.
TCU's new rival in the Big XII will be Baylor and Iowa State. Write it down.
Let me know if you need a pen.

Georgia is one of the best teams at making comebacks in college history. I still can't believe the comeback to beat VT in the Peach Bowl. Unbelievable.
I was at that game. The VT fans were pretty agressive towards the students but not some much with the older guys.
I was with my father in law who played pro ball, 6-3 about 280. I looked like a mouse at 5 10 225. They didn't mess with us and our other two friends but they were brutal to the students - in the first half. By the late 3rd they were all sitting down and starting to vanish in the 4th. Never have I seen so many, so loud get so quiet - except when Alabama curb stompted us in athens. Another good comeback was Va-Ga in Hawaii in Donnans last game. Quincy (its not what you think its talcom poweder) Carter got us down in the first half and he got "inspired" at halftime and we came from 21 down. You can do that with a mature team and a veteran QB, thats why I'm still waiting on Murray. QB's like Moore, Cousins etc can win a close game, immature QB's like Murray tend to lose them on their own (USC,somewhat the Boise game) with huge mistages trying to force plays. Moments of greatness followed by moments of 92,000 ga. fans shaking their heads.
