The Championship Playoffs

This is a bitter sweet moment for me. Being true to my Giants that have held a place in my heart since 1989. I was disgusted with their lack of interest in Philip Rivers and traded him for Eli Manning. Not sure if they made the right decision, time will tell and its proving to be a hard test. Both of these guys have been exceptionally good for the last part of the season. Me, being a die hard NCSU fan and Philip Rivers fan...would love nothing more than to see these two square off in the ultimate battle...The Super Bowl! Who would I choose to win? If it were man against man, I would definitely be going with Rivers...since its not the case and you have to go for the team, it would be a tough decision to make. Will we get to see it? I have my doubts...Either way I congratulate both teams as they seem to inch one game further to the ultimate prize...GOOD LUCK!!!

How bout that game?? Our Giants pulled it off and I couldnt be happier! Now you dont evne have to worry who to cheer for since the Chargers are out of the running. I hate to say it but I knew that was going to happen. I also predicted the Giants win but I was worried about the weather hurting them... Ironically it looked like it hurt the Packers more than the Giants!! GO BIG BLUE!!!

The Championship PlayoffsMaybe they can have a 3rd place game. As much as I am a fan of history, I see it being repeated from the earlier contests. I'll give the Giants a bit more of a chance against Favre then I will a broken Rivers against Brady. The Super Bowl will be another chance for Favre to retire in earnest. Unfortunately for all, Brady, Moss, et al, will crush all comers. At least you get to dream Wuffy. I'm cold, broken and just want to go fishing. Skol Vikings!

The Championship PlayoffsThanks Mom, and If not, there will be an opportunity to see them battle in a season game in 2009. When I see the outcome of that game, I'll see who would be the better man to lead my Giants...

The Championship PlayoffsHow about a Giants Chargers Superbowl on February 3, 2008? It would be interesting to see Philip Rivers and Eli Manning compete against each other for the championship. As I recal, Eli was drafted by the Chargers #1 in 2004 and traded to the NY Giants for Philip Rivers. Interesting.
