All-Big Ten Teams Announced, Pryor unhappy

The Big Ten released their all-conference teams on Monday, and clearly both the coaches and media value the play of the individual at each position.  The conference has seen an amazing collection of quarterback performances this season, making the narrowing process difficult for the voters.  But when the ballots were counted, Wisconsin's Scott TolzienMichigan's Denard Robinson and Northwestern's Dan Persa made the first and second teams, with Persa making both lists.

One quarterback not too happy with the results was Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor.  Who, in the same fashion as so many brilliant athletes before him, took to Twitter to say something that will likely be misunderstood and blown out of proportion.

Obviously Pryor is not going to quit football anytime soon.  But his frustration is somewhat understood.  Pryor is still thought by some to be a longshot Heisman candidate and plays on a team that tied for the regular season title, so conventional wisdom would likely place him atop his other Big Ten counterparts.  But this was not a conventional season at quarterback in the Big Ten.

Plus Pryor could have possibly won some of the "career honor" type votes if he wasn't so adamant about coming back next season.  Come on Terrelle, work the system baby, work the system.

Below are the full media and coaches' All-Big Ten squads as reported by the conference.

As a Buckeye fan I would have to say that Pryor was less than spectacular this season. Every time he threw the ball I would find myself cringing. His running/scrambling ability is definitely above average but his passing ability is definitely lacking the accuracy needed for an I-A QB. It’s almost as if he aiming instead of throwing the football in a natural motion. Anyways, I feel that his passing abilities need to improve before he can ever be a legitimate Heisman or 1st team Big Ten candidate.

He should get used to getting beat out for that honor... Next year, if he returns, he`ll still lose out to Robinson... and to Taylor Martinez.

OSU is on top every year because you are in a really, really weak conference.  You played one ranked team this year and got beat.  The rest of the nation just laughs when they see OSU in the polls.

Pryor don't feel too bad. In 1989 Troy Aikman was the first player taken in the draft. Not bad for a qb who wasn't first team or second team All Pac Ten. Timm Rossenbach was 1st team and Rodney Peete was 2nd. Who cares?

To be a Ohio State fan you have to understand that at times when TP or Gee makes comments like they did the last couple weeks, the haters are going to come out of woodwork to give their 2c worth. Why, cause truth be told tOSU is at the top of world right now. Football, basketball..... they are year after year in the tops in the nation. They have a storybook history. For one of the largest U's in the nation, a very clean programs with just minor bumps along the way. Continue to be the minor league program for the NFL. Sure we can't go undefeated every year and sometiimes blow a couple NC games (everyone forgets the ones we win), but we won't go away. You see some programs on the map for 2-5 years but tOSU is always there. So bring on the hate because I would hate your teams if they were as good and consistant as tOSU too. Buckeye fans never have to be sorry for being so good. Go BUCKS!!!

Pryors name should certainly be on the list!! It's crazy that he didn't get on one of the teams. As a Badger fan I wouldn't have been mad if he would have been selected over Scott Tolzien.

Hahahahahaha, Pryor is one of the most self-entitled players in college ball. He expects everything and is grateful for nothing.
